Job Overview
This role is critical to ensuring compliance with national and international mining safety regulations. The Mine Safety Compliance Officer will oversee risk assessments, safety audits, and emergency preparedness across Luxor’s mining sites. Candidates will join a dynamic team dedicated to zero-harm workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify hazards.
- Develop and implement safety protocols aligned with OSHA and Egyptian mining laws.
- Train employees on safety procedures and emergency response protocols.
- Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with regulatory bodies to maintain compliance certifications.
Required Skills
- Proven expertise in mining safety regulations and risk management.
- Strong analytical skills for incident analysis and reporting.
- Proficiency in safety management software (e.g., Safety-IQ).
- Bilingual (Arabic and English) preferred.

Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering, Occupational Safety, or related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., NEBOSH, CMIOSH) is an advantage.
Experience
- 3-5 years in mining safety compliance or industrial health and safety roles.
- Experience in gold mining operations is highly desirable.
Salary
120,000 – 160,000 SSP annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
