Job Overview

Strabag Egypt is seeking a dedicated Construction Safety Compliance Officer to ensure adherence to national and international safety standards on active construction sites in Faiyum. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections on construction sites to identify hazards and ensure compliance with OSHA and Egyptian safety regulations.
• Develop and implement safety training programs for workers and management.
• Investigate incidents and near-misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain safety documentation, including incident reports and compliance records.
• Collaborate with project managers to integrate safety protocols into construction planning.

Required Skills

• Proven experience in construction safety management with a focus on high-risk environments.
• Certification in OSHA, NEBOSH, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of Egyptian construction safety laws and international standards.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to train and mentor teams.
• Proficiency in using safety management software and reporting tools.

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Safety Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Postgraduate qualifications in occupational health and safety are a plus.

Experience

• Minimum of 3-5 years in construction safety roles, preferably in large-scale infrastructure projects.

Salary

• Annual salary range: 45,000 – 65,000 SSP, commensurate with experience.
