Job Overview

The Ground Services Operations Manager will lead a team responsible for all ground handling activities at Cairo International Airport, ensuring seamless coordination of aircraft turnaround, passenger services, baggage handling, cargo operations, and safety compliance. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily ground handling operations, including aircraft marshaling, pushback, fueling coordination, and passenger boarding.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to optimize turnaround times while maintaining safety standards.
  • Manage a multidisciplinary team of supervisors, technicians, and customer service agents, providing coaching and performance feedback.
  • Coordinate with airport authorities, security agencies, and third‑party service providers to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on‑time performance, baggage mishandling rates, and customer satisfaction scores.
  • Lead incident investigations and root‑cause analyses, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Prepare operational budgets, forecast resource needs, and control expenditures within approved limits.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.

Education

Minimum of 5‑7 years of progressive experience in airport ground handling, airline operations, or related aviation services, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

Salary
