Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Geophysics Research Scientist to join our team in Marsa Alam, Egypt. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research in geophysics, with a focus on seismic hazard assessment and mitigation.

The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in Geophysics and at least 8 years of experience in research and development. They will be responsible for designing and implementing research projects, collecting and analyzing data, and publishing research findings in peer-reviewed journals.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for collaborating with other researchers and stakeholders to advance the field of geophysics and to develop new technologies and methods for seismic hazard assessment and mitigation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement research projects in geophysics, with a focus on seismic hazard assessment and mitigation
  • Collect and analyze data from various sources, including seismic networks and satellite imagery
  • Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at conferences
  • Collaborate with other researchers and stakeholders to advance the field of geophysics and to develop new technologies and methods for seismic hazard assessment and mitigation

Required Skills

  • Ph.D. in Geophysics
  • At least 8 years of experience in research and development
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
