Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Geophysics Research Scientist to join our team in New Valley, Egypt. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research in geophysics, with a focus on seismic hazard assessment and mitigation. The role will involve working closely with our international partners and stakeholders to develop and implement new methods and technologies for seismic hazard assessment and mitigation.
The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in Geophysics and at least 8 years of experience in research and development in the field of geophysics. They will have a strong background in seismic hazard assessment and mitigation, and will be able to communicate complex scientific concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research in geophysics, with a focus on seismic hazard assessment and mitigation
- Develop and implement new methods and technologies for seismic hazard assessment and mitigation
- Work closely with international partners and stakeholders to develop and implement new methods and technologies for seismic hazard assessment and mitigation
- Communicate complex scientific concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Required Skills
- Ph.D. in Geophysics
- At least 8 years of experience in research and development in the field of geophysics
- Strong background in seismic hazard assessment and mitigation
- Ability to communicate complex scientific concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Education
Ph.D. in Geophysics from a recognized university
