We are seeking a highly skilled Geophysics Research Scientist to join our team in Marsa Alam, Egypt. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research in geophysics, with a focus on the geology of the Red Sea region. The role will involve working closely with our international partners to advance our understanding of the region’s geology and to develop new technologies for exploring and exploiting its natural resources.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research in geophysics, with a focus on the geology of the Red Sea region.
- Work closely with international partners to advance our understanding of the region’s geology and to develop new technologies for exploring and exploiting its natural resources.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local stakeholders, including government agencies, industry partners, and local communities.
- Contribute to the development of new research projects and initiatives, and to the publication of research findings in peer-reviewed journals.
Required Skills
- Ph.D. in Geophysics or a related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in geophysics research, with a focus on the geology of the Red Sea region.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with international partners and local stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design and implement research projects.
- Proficiency in English, with the ability to communicate complex scientific concepts to non-technical audiences.
Education
Ph.D. in Geophysics or a related field.
Experience
At least 8 years of experience in geophysics research, with a focus on the geology of the Red Sea region.
Salary
80,000 – 120,000 SSP per year.
