Job Overview
The FinTech Product Manager will lead the end‑to‑end lifecycle of Paymob’s flagship payment products, from ideation and market research to launch and post‑launch optimization. Reporting to the Head of Product, you will work closely with cross‑functional teams—including engineering, design, data analytics, compliance, and sales—to translate market needs into compelling product solutions that enhance user experience and drive revenue growth. This role is central to Paymob’s strategy of expanding its product portfolio and solidifying its position as a market leader in Egypt’s fintech landscape.
As part of your responsibilities, you will define product vision, create roadmaps, prioritize features, and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities
- Define and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap for payment solutions.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and stakeholder interviews to identify opportunities.
- Prioritize features and enhancements using data‑driven frameworks such as RICE or MoSCoW.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, and data teams to deliver high‑quality product releases on schedule.
- Ensure product compliance with Central Bank of Egypt regulations and international security standards (PCI‑DSS).
- Monitor product performance metrics, analyze user behavior, and implement iterative improvements.
- Develop business cases, pricing models, and go‑to‑market strategies.
- Lead product demos, training sessions, and internal communications for sales and support teams.
- Represent Paymob at industry conferences, fintech meetups, and partner negotiations.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (5+ years) in product management within fintech, payments, or related financial services.
- Strong understanding of payment processing, digital wallets, and merchant acquisition.
- Excellent analytical abilities with proficiency in SQL, Tableau, or similar data tools.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable product features.
- Agile mindset with experience leading cross‑functional Scrum teams.
- Fluent in English and Arabic, both written and spoken.
Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline is required. An MBA or advanced certification in product management (e.g., Pragmatic Institute, AIPMM) is highly desirable.
Experience
Minimum five years of hands‑on product management experience in a fast‑paced fintech environment, with a track record of launching successful payment products. Experience working with regulatory bodies and compliance teams in Egypt is a strong advantage.
Salary
