Job Overview

The Digital Twin Simulation Engineer will be responsible for developing high‑fidelity virtual replicas of construction projects, enabling real‑time performance monitoring, predictive maintenance, and optimization of resources. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you will translate design data into dynamic models that integrate structural, mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and validate digital twin models for large‑scale construction projects using platforms such as Autodesk Forge, Siemens NX, or Dassault Systèmes.
  • Integrate BIM data, sensor feeds, and IoT devices to create real‑time, data‑driven simulations.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and MEP engineers to ensure model accuracy and alignment with design intent.
  • Perform scenario analysis to assess energy consumption, structural integrity, and lifecycle costs.
  • Develop dashboards and visualizations that communicate insights to stakeholders and support decision‑making.
  • Implement predictive algorithms for maintenance scheduling and risk mitigation.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to internal teams and client personnel on digital twin best practices.
  • Maintain documentation, version control, and compliance with industry standards such as ISO 19650.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in BIM tools (Revit, Navisworks) and simulation software (ANSYS, MATLAB, Simscape).
  • Strong programming skills in Python, C#, or JavaScript for data integration and automation.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and APIs for IoT data ingestion.
  • Solid understanding of construction processes, MEP systems, and sustainability metrics.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.

Education

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline is required. Advanced degrees or certifications in BIM Management, Data Science, or Sustainable Design are highly desirable.

Experience

Applicants should have 5‑7 years of professional experience in digital twin development, BIM coordination, or advanced simulation within the construction or infrastructure sector. Prior exposure to large‑scale projects in Egypt or the Middle East will be considered an advantage.

Salary

The compensation package ranges from SSP 180,000 to SSP 250,000 annually, commensurate with experience, expertise, and performance. The package includes performance‑based bonuses, health insurance, and a retirement plan.
