Key Responsibilities
- Develop and test agri-tech solutions such as IoT-based irrigation systems and soil health monitoring tools
- Conduct field trials in Luxor’s desert farming zones to evaluate technology effectiveness
- Collaborate with local farmers to implement sustainable practices and provide technical training
- Analyze agricultural data to identify patterns and improve productivity models
- Prepare research reports for government and international stakeholders
Required Skills
- Proficiency in agricultural software (Agisoft, FarmBeats) and GIS mapping tools
- Experience with solar-powered irrigation systems and smart farming technologies
- Strong analytical skills for crop yield forecasting and resource optimization
- Bilingual communication (Arabic/English) for stakeholder engagement
- Project management expertise for multi-disciplinary teams
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agricultural Engineering, Agronomy, or Environmental Technology
