Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sustainable Water Resources Engineer to join our team in Aswan, Egypt. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our water resources management program in Egypt, and will work closely with our members and partners to advance the science and practice of water management in the region.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental engineering, water resources management, or a related field, and will have significant experience in leading water resources management projects in Egypt or other developing countries.

The successful candidate will be based in Aswan, Egypt, and will be responsible for leading our water resources management program in the region. This will involve working closely with our members and partners to advance the science and practice of water management in the region, and to promote the adoption of sustainable and equitable water management practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead our water resources management program in Egypt, and work closely with our members and partners to advance the science and practice of water management in the region.
  • Develop and implement water resources management projects in Egypt, and work closely with our members and partners to ensure their successful implementation.
  • Provide technical assistance and support to our members and partners in Egypt, and help them to develop and implement sustainable and equitable water management practices.
  • Contribute to the development of our global water resources management program, and help to advance the science and practice of water management around the world.

Required Skills

  • Strong background in environmental engineering, water resources management, or a related field.
  • Significant experience in leading water resources management projects in Egypt or other developing countries.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic, and the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or related field.

Experience

5-8 years of experience in water resources management, environmental engineering, or a related field.

Salary

50,000 – 80,000 SSP per year.
