We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sustainable Agriculture Specialist to join our team in Fayoum, Egypt.
Job Overview
The Sustainable Agriculture Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing sustainable agriculture practices in Egypt. This will involve working closely with farmers, extension agents, and other stakeholders to promote the use of best management practices and improve crop yields.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agriculture and experience in sustainable agriculture practices. They will also have excellent communication and project management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sustainable agriculture practices in Egypt
- Work with farmers and extension agents to promote best management practices
- Conduct training and workshops on sustainable agriculture practices
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of sustainable agriculture practices on crop yields and environmental sustainability
Required Skills
- Strong background in agriculture and sustainable agriculture practices
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluency in Arabic and English
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or related field
Experience
5-7 years of experience in sustainable agriculture practices
Salary
