Job Overview

At DB Schenker, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Risk Manager to join our team in Sidi Barrani, Egypt. As a Supply Chain Risk Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and mitigating risks in our supply chain, ensuring the highest level of service and quality to our customers.

You will work closely with our operations team to develop and implement risk management strategies, and to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and mitigate risks in our supply chain, including supply chain disruptions, inventory management, and logistics operations.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to minimize the impact of risks on our business.
  • Collaborate with our operations team to ensure the highest level of service and quality to our customers.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including customs regulations and trade agreements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with our suppliers and partners to ensure the highest level of service and quality.

    • Required Skills
  • 5-7 years of experience in supply chain management or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain risk management principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize multiple tasks and projects.

    Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
