Job Overview

This position requires a dynamic professional to coordinate renewable energy projects in Aswan, leveraging Orange Egypt’s infrastructure and partnerships to deliver sustainable energy solutions. The role combines technical expertise with project management skills to advance Egypt’s renewable energy agenda while creating local employment opportunities in the rapidly growing green energy sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate solar/wind energy project implementation with government agencies and local stakeholders
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for renewable energy initiatives
  • Conduct feasibility studies for new energy projects in Aswan region
  • Monitor environmental impact assessments and ensure compliance with Egyptian regulations
  • Develop partnerships with local universities for research and innovation in clean energy
  • Prepare technical reports and presentations for executive stakeholders

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in renewable energy project coordination
  • Strong understanding of Egyptian energy regulations and sustainability frameworks
  • Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Primavera)
  • Fluency in Arabic and English
  • Ability to work in remote locations with limited supervision

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Electrical Engineering, or Renewable Energy Engineering. Master’s Degree preferred but not required.

Experience

3-5 years of experience in energy project management, with at least 1 year in renewable energy sector. Experience in Egyptian public-private partnerships is a strong advantage.

Salary

80,000 – 120,000 SSP annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
