Job Overview

The Project Controls Engineer will join the Project Management Office (PMO) in Tanta, supporting the planning, cost control, and performance monitoring of large‑scale construction initiatives. Reporting to the Senior Project Controls Manager, the role involves developing detailed schedules, tracking budgets, and providing actionable insights to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and at the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project, ensuring alignment with contractual milestones.
• Prepare cost forecasts, variance analyses, and cash flow reports to support financial decision‑making.
• Monitor project performance metrics, identify deviations, and recommend corrective actions to senior management.
• Coordinate with the procurement team to track material deliveries and assess cost impacts.
• Facilitate regular progress meetings, presenting clear status updates and risk registers to stakeholders.
• Implement earned value management (EVM) techniques to evaluate schedule and cost performance.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, ensuring compliance with internal controls and client requirements.
• Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly reports for senior leadership and external auditors.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in project scheduling software (Primavera P6, MS Project) and cost control tools.
• Strong analytical abilities with a solid understanding of earned value management.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for interfacing with diverse project teams.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a closely related discipline is required. Experience

Applicants must possess a minimum of five years of hands‑on experience in project controls, cost engineering, or schedule management within the construction or infrastructure sector.
