Job Overview
The Pharmaceutical Supply Chain Manager will lead end‑to‑end supply chain operations for Novartis Egypt, ensuring the efficient, compliant, and cost‑effective movement of pharmaceutical products from manufacturing sites to end‑users. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute supply chain strategies that align with corporate goals and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee demand forecasting, inventory management, and replenishment planning to ensure product availability.
- Manage relationships with third‑party logistics providers, wholesalers, and distributors to optimize transportation and distribution networks.
- Ensure compliance with Egyptian drug regulations, Good Distribution Practice (GDP), and international quality standards.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or other process‑optimization methodologies.
- Coordinate with manufacturing sites to synchronize production schedules with market demand.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order fill rate, lead time, and cost per unit, and report findings to senior leadership.
- Implement risk management plans to mitigate supply disruptions, including contingency sourcing and emergency response protocols.

Education

Applicants must have a minimum of 5‑7 years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical supply chain, logistics, or operations management. Experience within a multinational pharmaceutical environment and exposure to Egyptian regulatory frameworks will be highly valued.
Salary
