Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of lean manufacturing projects, targeting a minimum 10% improvement in overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) within the first year.
  • Conduct value‑stream mapping, root‑cause analysis, and Kaizen events to eliminate non‑value‑added activities.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, quality, and supply chain teams to align process improvements with business objectives.
  • Utilize statistical process control (SPC) and advanced data analytics to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive data‑based decision making.
  • Mentor and coach internal Six Sigma Green Belts and Black Belts, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions that reflect best practices.
  • Prepare detailed project charters, business cases, and post‑implementation reviews to demonstrate ROI.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout all improvement activities.

Required Skills

  • Proven expertise in Lean, Six Sigma (Green Belt minimum, Black Belt preferred) and continuous improvement frameworks.
  • Strong analytical abilities with proficiency in Minitab, Power BI, or similar data visualization tools.
  • Excellent project management skills, including scope definition, scheduling, and stakeholder communication.
  • Effective interpersonal and leadership skills to influence cross‑functional teams.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes in heavy‑industry environments such as turbine and generator production.
  • Fluent in English and Arabic, both written and spoken.

Education

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline. A Master’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a comparable field is highly desirable and will be considered a strong differentiator during the selection process.

Experience
