Job Overview
This role involves auditing energy systems in green-certified buildings to ensure compliance with international sustainability standards. The auditor will collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to optimize energy performance, reduce operational costs, and support Egypt’s transition to eco-friendly construction practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive energy audits for LEED, BREEAM, and other green building certifications.
- Identify energy-saving opportunities and recommend retrofitting solutions.
- Prepare detailed reports with actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement energy-efficient designs.
- Monitor and analyze energy consumption data using specialized software.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in energy auditing tools (e.g., EnergyPlus, eQUEST).
- Knowledge of green building standards and Egyptian energy regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling) software.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field. A Master’s Degree in Sustainable Architecture is a plus.
Experience
3-5 years of experience in energy auditing, preferably in the construction or renewable energy sectors. Proven track record in green building projects.
Salary
15,000 – 25,000 SSP per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
