Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Forestry Data Scientist to join our team in Minya, Egypt. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing large datasets to inform forest conservation and management decisions. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to the protection of Egypt’s natural resources.

Key Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze large datasets related to forest conservation and management
- Develop and implement data-driven solutions to inform forest conservation decisions
- Collaborate with local stakeholders to ensure the effective implementation of conservation projects
- Contribute to the development of reports and publications related to forest conservation
Required Skills
- Master’s degree in Data Science or related field
- 5-7 years of experience in data analysis and visualization
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and R
- Experience with data management and analysis tools such as SQL and Tableau
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Education
The successful candidate will have a Master’s degree in Data Science or a related field. A Ph.D. in Data Science or a related field is an asset.
Experience
The successful candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in data analysis and visualization. Experience working in a conservation or environmental organization is an asset.
Salary
The successful candidate will be offered a salary of 15,000 – 25,000 SSP per month, depending on experience.
