Job Overview

The Blockchain Solutions Architect will lead the design and implementation of enterprise‑grade blockchain platforms for Accenture’s diverse client portfolio. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end architecture of blockchain solutions, including network design, consensus mechanisms, smart contract development and integration patterns.
• Collaborate with clients to gather functional and non‑functional requirements, translating them into scalable technical specifications.
• Evaluate and recommend blockchain platforms such as Hyperledger Fabric, Ethereum, Corda and Quorum based on use‑case suitability.
• Develop proof‑of‑concepts and pilot projects to demonstrate feasibility and ROI for blockchain initiatives.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices, security standards and coding guidelines.
• Coordinate with cloud, data analytics and cybersecurity teams to create holistic, multi‑layered solutions.
• Stay current with industry trends, regulatory developments and emerging standards, sharing insights with internal and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to proposal development, solution costing and client presentations to win new blockchain engagements.

Required Skills

• Deep expertise in distributed ledger technologies, consensus algorithms and smart contract programming (Solidity, Go, Java).
• Strong architectural background with experience designing enterprise‑grade solutions on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Proficiency in cryptographic concepts, security protocols and identity management.
• Hands‑on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and DevOps pipelines.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and a strategic mindset for aligning technology with business goals.
• Effective communication skills to convey complex technical ideas to non‑technical audiences.
• Project management experience, preferably with Agile or Scrum methodologies.

Education

A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline is required. Advanced degrees or certifications in blockchain, cloud architecture or cybersecurity are highly desirable and will be considered a strong differentiator.

Experience

Candidates must have a minimum of five to seven years of professional experience designing and implementing blockchain solutions for large‑scale enterprises. Prior experience in consulting environments, especially within the technology or financial services sectors, is preferred. Demonstrated success in leading cross‑functional teams and delivering projects on time and within budget is essential.

Salary
