Job Overview

The Network Optimization Engineer will be responsible for planning, designing, and implementing optimization strategies that enhance the performance, capacity, and reliability of Orange Egypt’s mobile and fixed networks in the Beni Suef region. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement optimization plans to improve coverage, capacity, and throughput across 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G technologies.
• Collaborate with radio planning, core network, and field engineering teams to execute optimization projects.
• Perform post‑implementation verification and generate detailed reports on improvement metrics.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and field technicians.
• Stay updated with industry standards, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements affecting network optimization.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of radio frequency (RF) principles, LTE, and 5G NR architecture.
• Proficiency with network optimization tools such as Atoll, Mentum Planet, or similar platforms.
• Advanced analytical skills with experience in big data analysis and KPI interpretation.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and a data‑driven mindset.
• Effective communication skills for cross‑departmental collaboration.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Education

A bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline is required.
