Job Overview

The Logistics Operations Manager will lead the end‑to‑end management of freight movement, warehouse operations, and last‑mile delivery within the Port Said region. Reporting to the Regional Operations Director, you will be responsible for optimizing processes, ensuring compliance with international standards, and driving cost‑efficiency initiatives. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
  • Develop and implement process improvement strategies to reduce handling time and operational costs.
  • Coordinate with customs brokers and freight forwarders to ensure timely clearance of imports and exports.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on‑time delivery, inventory accuracy, and order fulfillment rates.
  • Lead a team of supervisors, coordinators, and operational staff, providing coaching and performance feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, ISO standards, and DHL’s internal quality policies.
  • Manage relationships with local carriers, third‑party logistics providers, and key customers.
  • Prepare operational reports for senior management and recommend corrective actions.
