Job Description

Naguib Selim is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Retail Accounting Supervisor to oversee financial operations across multiple retail branches. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and control of all cashiering and transactional activities while supporting overall financial performance.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising branch cashiers, managing daily cash operations, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and internal controls. This position requires a strong background in retail accounting, leadership capability, and the ability to manage multi-branch financial processes effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and manage all cashiers across company branches, ensuring adherence to financial procedures and policies
Monitor daily cash operations including collections, deposits, and reconciliations
Ensure accuracy and integrity of all financial transactions and cashier activities
Maintain strong financial control across branch operations and resolve discrepancies promptly
Review and reconcile daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports for all branches
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes related to retail operations
Oversee treasury functions and manage branch-level cash flow
Coordinate with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger teams to ensure proper financial recording
Conduct audits and spot checks on cashiering and cash handling processes
Train, mentor, and evaluate cashier teams to ensure compliance and high performance
Collaborate with retail and operations teams to improve financial processes and controls
Drive process improvements, standardization, and automation across branches

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or finance operations within retail or multi-branch environments
Previous supervisory or team management experience is required
Strong knowledge of retail accounting principles, cash management, and internal controls
Hands-on experience in financial reporting and closing processes
Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably Odoo
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and ability to manage complex financial data
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, multi-location environment
Good communication and coordination skills across departments

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline

Experience

At least 5 years of relevant experience in retail accounting or finance operations
Proven experience supervising teams and managing multi-branch financial processes

Salary (Estimated)

EGP 12,000 – 20,000 per month depending on experience and qualifications
