Job Overview
The Cultural Heritage Digital Storyteller will create immersive digital narratives that bring Egypt’s archaeological and historical heritage to life. This role combines creative storytelling with technical expertise to develop virtual exhibits, interactive media, and educational content that engage global audiences. The position is ideal for candidates passionate about both history and technology, with a focus on leveraging digital tools to preserve and promote Egypt’s cultural identity.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with historians, archaeologists, and digital designers to create engaging digital content.
- Develop interactive virtual tours, 3D reconstructions, and multimedia presentations of historical sites.
- Curate and narrate digital exhibitions for online platforms and museum installations.
- Conduct research to ensure historical accuracy in all digital storytelling projects.
- Work with international partners to share Egypt’s heritage through global digital networks.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in digital storytelling tools (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Strong understanding of Egyptian history, archaeology, or cultural studies.
- Experience in 3D modeling, animation, or virtual reality development.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for content creation.
- Ability to work in cross-disciplinary teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Cultural Heritage, Digital Media, History, Archaeology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
Experience
3-5 years of experience in digital content creation, cultural heritage projects, or museum exhibition design. Experience in virtual reality or augmented reality development is highly desirable.
Salary
80,000 – 120,000 SSP per year, commensurate with experience.
