Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement business strategies to expand Cargill’s agricultural operations in Luxor.
• Collaborate with local farmers, cooperatives, and government bodies to improve agricultural productivity.

• Design training programs for farmers on modern agricultural techniques and sustainable practices.
• Monitor and report on the economic and environmental impact of agri-business initiatives.

Required Skills

• Proven experience in agricultural business development or agri-food supply chain management.
• Strong leadership and project management skills with a track record of delivering results.
• Knowledge of Egyptian agricultural policies and local farming practices.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, GIS) for market and crop yield analysis.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Business Administration, Economics, or related field. Advanced degrees (MBA, MSc) in Agribusiness or Sustainable Development are a plus.

Experience

Minimum of 5 years in agricultural business development, with experience in Egypt’s agri-food sector. Prior project management in rural development or value chain enhancement is preferred.

Salary

80,000 – 120,000 SSP/Year, commensurate with experience and performance metrics.
