Job Overview

The Supply Chain Optimization Manager will lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of supply chain processes across DP World Egypt’s operations in the Nile Delta region. Reporting to the Regional Director of Supply Chain, the role focuses on enhancing efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring high service levels for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze end‑to‑end supply chain performance using advanced analytics and identify opportunities for cost reduction and service improvement.
• Develop and implement optimization models for inventory management, transportation routing, and warehouse layout.
• Lead cross‑functional projects that streamline processes, improve data visibility, and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with IT to integrate supply chain management systems, ensuring real‑time data flow and accurate forecasting.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular performance reports for senior leadership.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, customs procedures, and DP World’s global standards.

Required Skills

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in Excel, SQL, and supply chain modeling tools.
• Excellent project management abilities and experience leading multi‑disciplinary teams.
• Deep understanding of logistics, transportation, and inventory management principles.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.

Education

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline. Advanced certifications such as CSCP, CPIM, or PMP are considered a strong advantage.

Experience

A minimum of five to seven years of progressive experience in supply chain optimization, logistics planning, or operations management within a large‑scale, multinational organization is required. Experience in the Egyptian logistics sector or familiarity with regional trade corridors will be highly valued.

Salary

The compensation package ranges from 250,000 to 350,000 SSP per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The package includes performance‑based bonuses, health insurance, and retirement benefits.
