Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Environmental Conservation Specialist to join our team in Marsa Matruh, Egypt. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing conservation projects in the region, working closely with local communities, government agencies, and other stakeholders to protect and preserve natural habitats.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to join our team and contribute to our mission of protecting the natural world.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement conservation projects in the region, including habitat restoration, species conservation, and community engagement
- Work closely with local communities, government agencies, and other stakeholders to build support for conservation efforts
- Conduct fieldwork, including surveys, monitoring, and data collection
- Develop and maintain relationships with local partners and stakeholders
- Contribute to the development of conservation plans and strategies
Required Skills
- 5-7 years of experience in environmental conservation
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related field
- Strong knowledge of conservation principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluency in Arabic and English
