We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sustainable Geologist to join our team in Luxor, Egypt.
Job Overview
The Sustainable Geologist will be responsible for leading the development of sustainable mining practices and ensuring that our operations meet the highest standards of environmental and social responsibility.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in geology and sustainability, with experience in mining operations and a proven track record of developing and implementing sustainable practices.
The Sustainable Geologist will work closely with our exploration and production teams to identify opportunities for sustainable mining practices and develop strategies to implement them.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sustainable mining practices to minimize environmental impact and ensure social responsibility
- Conduct site visits to assess environmental and social impacts of mining operations
- Collaborate with exploration and production teams to identify opportunities for sustainable mining practices
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce waste and minimize environmental impact
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
Required Skills
- Master’s degree in Geology or related field
- 8-12 years of experience in mining operations, with a focus on sustainability
- Proven track record of developing and implementing sustainable practices
- Strong knowledge of environmental and social regulations and standards
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
