Job Overview
The Environmental Conservation Specialist will be responsible for implementing conservation projects and programs in El Quseir, Egypt. The successful candidate will have a strong background in environmental conservation and sustainability, and will be able to work effectively with local communities, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement conservation projects and programs in El Quseir, Egypt
- Work with local communities, government agencies, and other stakeholders to promote conservation and sustainability
- Conduct field research and monitoring to assess the effectiveness of conservation projects
- Develop and implement education and outreach programs to promote conservation and sustainability
- Collaborate with other teams and departments to achieve conservation and sustainability goals
Required Skills
- Master’s degree in Environmental Science or related field
- 5-7 years of experience in environmental conservation and sustainability
- Strong background in conservation biology, ecology, or related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Education
The successful candidate will have a Master’s degree in Environmental Science or related field. A Ph.D. in a related field is an asset.
Experience
The successful candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in environmental conservation and sustainability. Experience working in a developing country is an asset.
Salary
The salary for this position is 50,000 – 70,000 SSP per month, depending on experience.
