Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Forestry Data Scientist to join our team in Minya, Egypt. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets related to forestry and conservation. This role will play a critical part in informing our conservation strategies and ensuring the long-term sustainability of our projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data science, environmental science, or a related field, and experience working with large datasets. They will be proficient in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL, and have a strong understanding of data visualization tools and techniques.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect and analyze large datasets related to forestry and conservation
  • Develop and implement data visualization tools and techniques to communicate findings to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with conservation teams to develop and implement conservation strategies
  • Provide data-driven insights to inform decision-making and ensure the long-term sustainability of projects

Required Skills
