Job Overview
The Rail Systems Integration Engineer will play a pivotal role in the design, testing, and implementation of integrated rail subsystems for new and existing projects in Egypt. Reporting to the Senior Systems Engineer, the incumbent will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of signaling, traction, power, and communication systems. - Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and client representatives to resolve technical issues during design, fabrication, and commissioning phases.
- Perform system simulations and hardware‑in‑the‑loop testing to verify performance, reliability, and safety criteria.
- Support field installation teams by providing technical guidance, troubleshooting, and on‑site validation of integrated systems.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, risk assessments, and documentation for regulatory approvals.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing integration challenges and proposing innovative solutions.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of rail signaling, traction power, and communication protocols (e.g., ETCS, IEC 61850).
- Proficiency in system modeling tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, CATIA, or similar CAD platforms.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills with the ability to conduct root‑cause analysis.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities to interact with multidisciplinary stakeholders.

Education
