Job Description:
The Digital Forestry Data Scientist will work with our team of scientists and conservationists to develop and implement data-driven solutions that help us understand and address the complex challenges facing our planet. This will involve working with large datasets, developing and applying machine learning algorithms, and collaborating with our team of experts to develop and implement conservation solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and apply machine learning algorithms to analyze large datasets related to forestry and conservation
- Collaborate with our team of scientists and conservationists to develop and implement conservation solutions
- Work with our team to develop and implement data-driven strategies for protecting and preserving the world’s forests
- Develop and maintain databases and data systems to support our conservation efforts
- Communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and apply machine learning algorithms to analyze large datasets related to forestry and conservation
