Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Forestry Data Scientist to join our team in Sohag, Egypt. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing data-driven solutions to support our conservation efforts in Egypt.

As a Digital Forestry Data Scientist, you will work closely with our team of conservationists, researchers, and data analysts to design and implement data collection and analysis systems. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining databases, data visualizations, and other data products to support our conservation efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement data collection and analysis systems to support conservation efforts
• Develop and maintain databases, data visualizations, and other data products
• Work closely with conservationists, researchers, and data analysts to design and implement data-driven solutions
• Develop and maintain data-driven reports and presentations to support conservation efforts

Required Skills

• Master’s degree in Forestry or related field
• 5-7 years of experience in data science or a related field
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or SQL
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
