Job Overview
The Corporate Treasury Analyst will play a pivotal role in managing the bank’s daily cash positions, forecasting liquidity needs, and executing short‑term funding strategies. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor daily cash balances across all accounts and ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs.
- Prepare accurate cash flow forecasts on a rolling 30‑day basis, incorporating expected inflows and outflows.
- Execute short‑term funding transactions, including inter‑bank placements, repos, and commercial paper issuance.
- Analyze interest rate trends and recommend hedging strategies to mitigate market risk.
- Maintain compliance with Central Bank of Egypt regulations and internal treasury policies.
- Collaborate with the risk management team to assess counterparty credit exposure.
- Prepare periodic treasury performance reports for senior management and regulatory bodies.
- Support the implementation of treasury management systems and automation tools.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical abilities with proficiency in financial modeling and Excel.
- Knowledge of cash management, liquidity planning, and short‑term funding instruments.
- Familiarity with treasury management systems (e.g., Kyriba, GTreasury) is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills for interaction with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Understanding of Egyptian banking regulations and international best practices.
Education
A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline is required. Professional certifications such as Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) or CFA are advantageous but not mandatory.
