Key Job Responsibilities

The Finance Manager will be responsible for:

  • Leading the accounting team in preparing assets, liabilities, and capital account entries
  • Managing communication with malls, vendors, shipping lines, suppliers, and external stakeholders
  • Preparing, reviewing, and submitting tax returns in compliance with regulations
  • Calculating shipment costs, operational expenses, and associated financial records
  • Managing settlement of vendor outstanding installments and payment schedules
  • Processing payroll and commission payments accurately and on time
  • Monitoring and following up on CAPEX (Capital Expenditure) and operational expenses
  • Assisting in cash planning, liquidity forecasting, and budget management
  • Reviewing payments, invoices, and financial transactions for accuracy and compliance
  • Maintaining and reconciling balance sheets, journal entries, and general ledger accounts
  • Processing sales reports for RAA Global and RAA Trading Kenya operations
  • Supporting external audits and assisting in maintaining official financial records
  • Coordinating with audit firms during year-end financial closing and reporting cycles
  • Managing monthly closing activities and preparing financial statements

Education and Qualifications

Applicants should possess:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Economics, or a related discipline
