Job Summary
We are seeking a Retail Accounting Supervisor to oversee and control all retail financial operations across our branches, with a strong focus on cashiering activities, cash management, and transactional accuracy.
This role is responsible for supervising all branch cashiers, ensuring proper financial recording, and maintaining strong internal controls across all locations. The ideal candidate will combine hands-on retail accounting experience with the ability to manage multi-branch operations and support financial reporting and closing activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage all cashiers across company branches, ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Monitor daily cash operations, including collections, deposits, and reconciliations
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of all financial transactions and cashier activities
- Maintain full financial control over branch operations, identifying and resolving discrepancies
- Review and reconcile daily, weekly, and monthly reports for all branches
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes related to retail operations
- Oversee treasury-related activities and branch cash flow control
- Coordinate with Accounting teams (AP, AR, GL) to ensure proper recording and alignment
- Conduct regular audits and spot checks on branch cashiering and cash handling processes
- Train, coach, and evaluate cashier teams to ensure high performance and compliance
- Collaborate with Retail and Operations teams to enhance processes and controls
- Drive process improvements, standardization, and automation across all branches
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance operations, must be within retail or multi-branch environments
- Previous supervisory experience is a must
- Strong understanding of retail accounting, cash management, and internal controls
- Hands-on experience in financial closing and reporting
- Experience with ERP systems (Odoo is a plus)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills
- High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and ability to coordinate across multiple departments
