We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sustainable Water Resources Engineer to join our team in Aswan, Egypt.
Job Overview
The Sustainable Water Resources Engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing sustainable water resources management strategies in Egypt.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in environmental engineering and experience in water resources management.
The position will involve working closely with government agencies, local communities, and other stakeholders to develop and implement sustainable water resources management plans.
The Sustainable Water Resources Engineer will also be responsible for conducting research and analysis to identify opportunities for improving water efficiency and reducing water pollution in Egypt.
The position will require frequent travel to different parts of Egypt, and the successful candidate must be willing to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sustainable water resources management strategies in Egypt
- Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for improving water efficiency and reducing water pollution
- Work closely with government agencies, local communities, and other stakeholders to develop and implement sustainable water resources management plans
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, local community leaders, and other water professionals
- Provide technical assistance and support to government agencies and local communities to improve their water resources management capabilities
Required Skills
- Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering or related field
- 8-12 years of experience in water resources management, with a focus on sustainability and environmental impact
- Strong background in environmental engineering, including water treatment, water supply, and wastewater management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with government officials, local community leaders, and other stakeholders
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or related field
Experience
8-12 years of experience in water resources management, with a focus on sustainability and environmental impact
Salary
15,000 – 25,000 SSP per month
