Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sustainable Water Resources Engineer to join our team in Sohag, Egypt. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing sustainable water resources management systems, conducting water quality assessments, and developing strategies to improve water efficiency and reduce water pollution. The role will also involve collaborating with local stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, and community groups, to promote water conservation and sustainable water use practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement sustainable water resources management systems, including water supply systems, wastewater treatment plants, and flood control measures.
- Conduct water quality assessments and develop strategies to improve water quality and reduce water pollution.
- Develop and implement water efficiency programs to reduce water consumption and promote water conservation practices.
- Collaborate with local stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, and community groups, to promote water conservation and sustainable water use practices.
- Provide technical assistance and training to local water authorities and communities on sustainable water resources management practices.
Required Skills:
- Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in water resources management, including design and implementation of water supply systems, wastewater treatment plants, and flood control measures.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful water efficiency programs and promoting water conservation practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with local stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, and community groups.
- Strong technical skills, including knowledge of water resources management principles, water quality assessment methods, and water efficiency technologies.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Experience: 8-12 years of experience in water resources management, including design and implementation of water supply systems, wastewater treatment plants, and flood control measures.
