Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sustainable Geospatial Analyst to join our team in Aswan, Egypt. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting geospatial data to support water resources management and planning in the region.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geospatial science, experience working with GIS software, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. The candidate will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze geospatial data to support water resources management and planning
- Develop and implement GIS-based solutions to support water resources management
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize water resources management needs
- Develop and maintain relationships with government agencies, NGOs, and private sector organizations
- Contribute to the development of IWA’s water resources management programs and projects
Required Skills
- Master’s degree in Geospatial Science or related field
- 5-7 years of experience in geospatial analysis and GIS software
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Fluency in English and Arabic
Education
The successful candidate will have a Master’s degree in Geospatial Science or a related field from a recognized university. The candidate will also have a strong background in GIS software, with experience working with ArcGIS, QGIS, or other similar software.
Experience
The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in geospatial analysis and GIS software, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment. The candidate will also have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Salary
The salary for this position is 60,000 – 90,000 SSP per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
