Job Overview
The Public Policy Analyst will work within KPMG’s Public Policy & Advisory department, supporting government agencies, NGOs, and private sector clients in the design, analysis, and implementation of policy solutions. This role involves conducting rigorous research, preparing policy briefs, and delivering actionable recommendations that influence legislative and regulatory outcomes. The analyst will also contribute to thought leadership pieces, participate in stakeholder workshops, and assist in the development of strategic roadmaps that align with national development plans.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive policy research and data analysis to support client engagements.
- Prepare detailed policy briefs, white papers, and impact assessments for government and private sector stakeholders.
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder consultations to gather insights and build consensus.
- Monitor legislative developments, regulatory changes, and emerging trends affecting client industries.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate policy recommendations into broader advisory projects.
- Develop and present findings to senior consultants, client executives, and public officials.
- Support the creation of thought leadership content, including articles, webinars, and conference presentations.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in statistical software (e.g., STATA, R, or Python).
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, capable of translating complex concepts into clear, actionable insights.
- Deep understanding of Egyptian public policy processes, regulatory frameworks, and governance structures.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with stakeholder engagement and facilitation techniques.
Education
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Economics, Law, Political Science, or a related discipline is required. Advanced degrees (Master’s or Ph.D.) are highly desirable and will be considered an advantage during the selection process.
Experience
Candidates should possess 3‑5 years of relevant experience in policy analysis, government advisory, research institutions, or consulting firms. Experience within the Egyptian public sector or with international development organizations is a strong plus.
Salary
The annual compensation package ranges from 150,000 to 250,000 SSP, commensurate with experience, qualifications, and performance. The package includes performance‑based bonuses, health insurance, and retirement benefits.
