Job Overview
The AI Ethics Officer will lead the development, implementation, and governance of ethical frameworks for AI products and services within Google Egypt. This role involves close collaboration with product managers, engineers, legal counsel, and external stakeholders to assess potential risks, define mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with local and international regulations. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain AI ethics policies, guidelines, and best‑practice frameworks tailored to the Egyptian market.

Required Skills

Education
A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Ethics, Law, Public Policy, or a related field is required. Candidates with additional certifications in AI governance, data privacy, or ethics (e.g., IEEE Ethics in AI, ISO/IEC 42001) are strongly preferred.
Experience
Minimum of five years of professional experience in AI ethics, policy development, compliance, or a related discipline. Prior experience within a technology company, research institution, or regulatory agency is advantageous. Demonstrated track record of leading ethical assessments for AI products and influencing product strategy is essential.
Salary
The compensation package ranges from SSP 250,000 to SSP 350,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The package includes performance‑based bonuses, equity grants, and comprehensive benefits.
