Job Overview
The Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance Manager will lead the QA team responsible for ensuring that all products manufactured at the Alexandria site meet stringent international regulatory requirements and GSK’s internal quality standards. You will oversee the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of quality systems, conduct risk assessments, and collaborate closely with Production, R&D, and Regulatory Affairs to guarantee product safety and efficacy. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain GMP‑compliant quality management systems.
- Lead internal and external audits, ensuring corrective actions are effectively addressed.
- Manage change control processes for manufacturing and analytical methods.
- Oversee qualification and validation activities for equipment, facilities, and processes.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve quality deviations and investigations.
- Ensure timely preparation and submission of regulatory documentation.
- Mentor and train QA staff on best practices and regulatory updates.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using risk‑based approaches.
Required Skills
- In‑depth knowledge of GMP, ICH, and FDA/EMA regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in quality management software and data analysis tools.
- Leadership experience with a focus on team development.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to high standards.
- Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.
Education
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related discipline is required. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications such as CQE, CQA, or Six Sigma are highly desirable and will be considered an advantage during the selection process.
Experience
Applicants must have 5‑7 years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical quality assurance, preferably within a GMP‑regulated manufacturing environment. Experience leading audit teams, managing validation projects, and interacting with regulatory authorities will be highly valued.
Salary
The compensation package ranges from SSP 25,000 to 35,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The package includes performance‑based bonuses, health insurance, and retirement benefits.
