Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review shop drawings and as-built drawings for medium voltage (MV) and low voltage (LV) cable systems
  • Perform accurate quantity take-offs for cables, ducts, cable trays, and manholes
  • Prepare and review technical submittals for cables and accessories such as joints and terminations
  • Coordinate with site engineers on cable routing, laying methods, and testing procedures
  • Follow up on material approvals and ensure compliance with project specifications
  • Prepare variation orders and assist in project documentation and reporting
  • Ensure adherence to electrical codes, safety standards, and infrastructure regulations
  • Support execution of cable testing and commissioning activities

Job Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering

Experience

  • 3–5 years of experience in infrastructure or power distribution projects
  • Hands-on experience with MV/LV cable networks and installation works

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of cable laying, testing, and commissioning procedures
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD for engineering drawings
  • Familiarity with technical submittals, BOQs, and project documentation
  • Understanding of electrical infrastructure standards and compliance requirements
